A New York native turned island girl, I’ve called Hawaii home since 2019. That’s a story in itself for another day. I quickly immersed myself in the equestrian community on the island, knowing that if I could find the horses, I could find my people. I think the quote is “home is where the horses are” or something like that.
In 2020 I made it my mission to get serious about riding again. After getting back in the saddle and nearly a decade since I competed, I set my sights on stepping back into the show ring. Long story short, I realized that I in fact still hate horse showing, but I love watching and cheering everyone on ring side.
Shortly after that, I found myself picking up my old Sony camera that had been collecting dust on my shelf. It was like rekindling an old flame, finding my way back to something that I had loved so much. I saw a need in our equine community for a show photographer, and who better to fill that role than someone who understands the sport, but someone with a creative eye.
From that day on I knew I had found my purpose, my true passion in life.
